Beginning Musings!

Won't it be great to muse with friends about southern stories? We share a culture, and we share
lives that are are intertwined whether we like it or not. We share journeys that quite often overlap. It will be wonderful to identify with the stories' characters and one another!! I do look forward to reading, writing and sharing!

Have you started 'The Sunday Wife'? I am curious to know what you think - it is definitely a "light read"!
It was great seeing you the other day!

I love your picture of the rocking chair on the porch! Nothing says "southern summer" to me more than that picture! All I need now is a good book and a glass of ice tea!

Petrecia - I see you finished The Sunday's Wife. Would you like to share some exerts? Possibly put the cover in a new post and talk about it?

Amanda, I am not finding this as easy as you do. I can't figure out how to put a profile in...and I am just now finding your message!!
Talking about old dogs and new tricks!

Signy, it was good to see you too!! I didn't look at Sunday wife as such a light book...as a matter of a fact, I found myself in such a funk after reading it that Augusta, Maddox and Dean followed me around for the whole weekend! I thought about that scripture that leads us to believe that "We Christians" may cause others to want no part of organized Christianity. My husband tells me I take all books too seriously. He's probably right. I may move to the Piggly Wiggly one next week. The idea of a widower and a widow kicking up their heels to the beat of the music is probably my speed!!

Carolyn, make that tea have a bit of lemon and I am good for a day!!

Maggie, I have never written a book review, but I would not mind trying. I can't figure out how to put the book cover on the page though!! Sorry that I am so computer iliterate.
